PRESS RELEASE --- for immediate release
“Our being selected for this responsibility only strengthens our commitment to bring important information to the public eye via the medium of the World Wide Web,” says Mr. Rosa
San Diego, CA., August 30, 2001 – RosArt Multimedia, Inc.™ announced that it has recently been chosen to oversee the design, hosting, and promotion of the new web site for national mega-firm Herman, Mathis, Casey, Kitchens & Gerel, LLP, a partnership of some of the top plaintiffs’ law firms in the United States. The site will be designed to allow the various law firms that make up the mega-firm to keep in contact with each other in a quick and efficient way, as well as allow clients throughout the country to easily access case information, and contact their attorneys when necessary, by way of specially designed, secure areas of the site. “We understand the importance of secure communications for law firms,” said Mr. Rosa, President of RosArt Multimedia, Inc.™, “and our main goal for the site is to provide the kind of security and functionality that a firm of this stature requires to confidently work on the Internet.”
The mega-firm is comprised of nationally prominent law firms, including Herman, Herman, Katz & Cotlar of New Orleans; Mathis, Adams & Tate of Savannah, Georgia; Casey, Gerry, Reed & Schenk of San Diego; Kitchens & Ellis of Jackson, Mississippi and Ashcroft & Gerel of Washington, D.C. The firms are heavily involved in public justice issues and have successfully taken on the tobacco, asbestos and energy industries. In fact one of the firms, Casey, Gerry, Reed & Schenk, represented the Alaska Fishing Industry in the infamous Exxon Valdez oil spill litigation. Russ Herman of Herman, Herman, Katz & Cotlar is listed by Fortune Magazine as one of the “lawyers from Hell” working on an ongoing HMO class action suit. Mr. Herman is quoted in the September 4, 2000 issue of Lawyers Weekly USA as saying, in response to being asked his reasoning for developing the mega-firm, “If you want to slay dragons, you’ve got to have the power to do it, and you just can’t do it anymore in a regular law firm. It’s a question of whether you’re going to fight dragons or dragonflies.”
